Coaching and mentoring

The first step

We offer an initial, no-obligation, complimentary consultation.

To get to know each other, the consultation is ideally face to face but can also take place over the telephone. We make sure that you appreciate what coaching is, how it works generally and what you might expect during the coaching session. Once we have decided to work together, we will agree the number of sessions and the period of time for the coaching relationship. We can also establish reasonable e-mail or telephone contact between sessions if needed by you.

The initial consultation can often allow us to work on your immediate priorities and concerns. As a result you will already be feeling more positive and in control.

Number of sessions

A coaching relationship is results driven, focuses on specific development areas and issues and is normally of a set duration. We recommend that you have six sessions, one every four to six weeks. However, this is a guide and services can be tailored to your requirements.

How we work

We are based in London and offer coaching face to face, over the telephone or via a conference facility (e.g. Skype), in the UK and internationally.

Coaching sessions can take place on the client’s premises or alternative locations, if preferred.

In addition to the experience of the coach, we draw on a broad range of tools to support learning, development and performance, for example, psychology, emotional intelligence and management theory. Assignments are of a flexible design.

Coaching is a medium to long-term development tool, where improvements in ‘soft’ behavioural measures can be realistically seen after six months and return on investment within 12 to 18 months. Our aim is to create a climate that promotes a continuous development approach.
